Stranded in a Hotel, mostly without Chris. Pregnancy hormones didn't help, either.

We usually go camping with a bunch of homeschoolers in mid-June. Since baby is due June 8, I highly doubt we'll make it this year. I'm really sad at the idea of missing it, and my kids will be crushed if we have to miss it. I'm not really sure how we're going to handle that.

The kids practiced writing thank-you notes today.

Getting up to get my camera would have ruined the moment, but picture this: I'm lying in bed, looking down at my belly. Behind my belly, Chris, Atticus, and Enzo are lying with their chins in their hands, watching for my belly to move (which it does, a lot). So precious.

I started classes today at GCC. I've been a student or a teacher for most of my life, so I think of my years in terms of how they are divided up by semester. So when I started classes today, I couldn't help but think about the fact that, by the end of this semester, I'll be expecting a baby to arrive within days or weeks. That's pretty crazy to wrap my mind around.

It's a Boy!

We were at a homeschooling science program yesterday, and I said "hello" to the teacher, who I haven't seen since we did this program last year. When he saw me, he said, "Oh- more on the way! We like that...we need more responsible scientists in the world."

Of all the comments I've gotten about being pregnant, that was my favorite.
