I had another prenatal appointment and felt relieved to hear the baby's heartbeat and movement after I was sick for so long. I met a midwife I'd never met before, Cate, and really liked her. She was really down-to-earth and easy to talk to.

My next appointment is in a few weeks, and that's when I'll get an ultrasound. And I'm quite positive we will find out this baby's gender. Should be fun!

    Exciting! There are two Cates there, I think, and one of them was the midwife who attended Summit's birth. She was not origionally my first choice, but she turned out to be *exactly* the right midwife for me. She was calm, down to earth, knew when to just ride things out and when to be responsive. I liked her alot. I can't remember her last name but I'd know it if I heard it, or I can try to think about it and let you know.
